How cool is the thought of taking a cross country road trip? That's exactly what Team Roemmelt member Christa Ansbergs did in her stylin' road machine "Syren." Once out of range of the worst traffic in the nation, that was probably easier than the rest of us think.

Christa is one of over 200 small donors to our campaign that believes the people of the 13th District deserve an effective leader representing the issues that matter the most in Richmond.

"The way I figure it, I live in a district that is never going to elect anyone other than a democrat, so I might as well send my money somewhere it will do more good," Christa said. "And how could I not support someone who sponsors a stock car as a part of their campaign? I just think that's so cool."

With your help and commitment in the first quarter, we out-raised our opponent. By the next reporting deadline (June 1), we hope to do it again. You have already put us over the top with our "20,000 doors" campaign. With the contributions you gave, you've kept us walking our district all the way to the November elections. It's contributions of $10, $20 or $35 from people like Christa that made that happen and that make the difference!
